I need to move from Laurel, MD as soon as possible. Today, I went to the Laurel mall for the first time since I moved to Laurel four years ago. OH MY GOD!!! That mall is deserted! It has five or maybe six stores and only one food vendor in the food court. I am not exaggerating. It was just depressing. That’s when I realized I really live in the booney.
I do most of my shopping and pretty much everything else out of Laurel, so it never bothered me that Laurel doesn’t have much. It didn’t bother me before, but I don’t know why it just totally depressed me today. Just SAD! I’m tired of living far from everything. I’m tired of driving.
So, let’s work on that goal of finding a job and move to NYC. In the mean time, I need to write a couple of papers, study for a final exam and walk across that stage on Sunday, December 19.
